What we are Doing to Help You Through the COVID-19 Pandemic

Heart of Wellness is committed to maintaining a safe and healthy clinic for our patients and our employees. As such, we are closely monitoring the ongoing COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak according to the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). We want to share with you the actions we are taking to help protect our patients and employees.

At this time we are open regular business hours and screening all patients who call to schedule or visit the clinic to ensure safety for all. If you need to cancel, reschedule, or inquire about telemedicine visits, please call our Patient Care Coordinators at 360-570-0401 or email us at info@heartofwellness.org. All late cancellation fees are waived until further notice. See the attached document for information on how to stay safe and reduce stress during the COVID-19 outbreak. Also included are the current CDC recommendations on seeking healthcare if you think you may have been exposed to the virus or are exhibiting symptoms.

We are working with insurance companies to be sure that we can seek reimbursement for telemedicine services so that you, our patients, are not responsible for additional out of pocket costs to have virtual visits with your healthcare provider. Currently, you may schedule a virtual visit with your Naturopath on a cash-pay basis. We will give you all of the documentation needed to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. We plan to be in a position to bill insurance for these visits by Monday, March 16, 2020.

If you would like to purchase vitamins or supplements, but do not wish to visit the office, please call us to place an order over the phone and we will ship to you. We’ve advised our employees to follow the public health authorities’ guidance regarding hygiene and personal travel, and we’ve reinforced our existing Heart of Wellness policy encouraging employees who are ill or symptomatic to stay home, consult with a medical professional and take good care to bolster their immune systems.

We appreciate the trust that you place in Heart of Wellness. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and take actions necessary to help keep our employees and patients safe while providing the care and medicine you need to stay healthy and vibrant. Please stay tuned for upcoming letters and blog posts with health and wellness practices relevant to the current disease outbreak.
