Coronavirus Health and Safety
At Heart of Wellness we are doing everything we can to ensure your health and safety. We are committed to meeting or exceeding all current public health and workplace guidelines for COVID-19 as set by state and federal agencies.
Screening: All patients and employees are screened daily for COVID-19 symptoms and for contact with people with diagnosed or suspected COVID-19 prior to coming into the office. No one who does not pass the screening is allowed into the building. For patients who have symptoms or who may have been exposed we offer telemedicine visits instead of an in-person visits.
Masks: Everyone in the clinic is required to wear a WA DOH approved face covering while in the clinic.
Air Filtration: We have an excellent HVAC system that filters the air in the entire building multiple times per hour and brings in outside air to completely replace the air in the building several times per day. The MERV13 filters on this system are one step below HEPA and are considered optimal for COVID-19 filtration per ASHRAE industry standards.
Surface cleaning: We clean all high touch surfaces in the clinic 3 times per day and we wipe down exam and treatment rooms after every use.
